Information

A red intrinsically safe surface mounting 105dB(A) sounder beacon with a red lens.  Designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Two stage sounder/beacon alarm option and 32 dip-switch selectable alarm tones. IP66 rated.  Supplied in a flame retardant polycarbonate housing.  33mA Alarm current. Conforms to EN 60079-0:2012 + All:2013 (IEC 60079-0:2011), EN-60079-11:2012 + (IEC 60079-11:2011). Must be used in conjunction with an approved Zener Barrier or Galvanic Isolator. Beacons with different coloured lenses also available – order IS-SB-02-01 for amber, IS-SB-02-03 for blue, IS-SB-02-04 for green or IS-SB-02-05 for white.
